Who needs Prime Day when the Razer DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed is already the best gaming mouse for the money?

For nearly $22, it's well worth getting the best wireless gaming mouse you can buy right now, and the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro may not look too special, but it boasts a 30,000 DPI optical sensor, an 8 kHz polling rate wireless dongle, and a build quality that is second to none.

However, I don't think you should buy this one. Not because it's not a bargain, but because there are better deals out there. Because even though it's a few dollars less than Razer's MSRP, it's not exactly on sale at the Prime Day event.

I am referring to the V3 HyperSpeed, the little brother of the DeathAdder V3 Pro. The optical sensor is not as powerful, peaking at 26,000 DPI, and the polling rate of the wireless system is 1,000 Hz (if you need the full 8 kHz rate, you can buy a separate dongle).

But forget all that, as few PC gamers will be able to tell the difference, or at least not enough of the specs have been cut to be significant in gaming. As a matter of fact, the V3 Pro is best suited for real professionals, whereas the V3 HyperSpeed is a great wireless gaming mouse that is perfect for everyone.

I'm not a big fan of gaming mice: they hurt my wrists and hands after a while, and they tend to be a bit flimsy in an attempt to be as lightweight as possible. However, when I reviewed the DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed, I was surprised at how sturdy and comfortable it was.

The plastic absorbs skin oils, the buttons are loud, and the mouse wheel is a bit trashy outside of gaming, but these are very minor issues in the grand scheme of things. Simply wipe the mouse after a long gaming session and the mouse will last for years, and if you play with headphones on, you won't even notice the button noises.

Certainly, the DeathAdder V3 Pro is a better wireless gaming mouse, but we would argue that the DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed is better not only in terms of price, but also in terms of battery life and ease of use. The lower polling rate means that you don't have to worry about constantly recharging the battery.

The V3 HyperSpeed is 25% cheaper than the V3 Pro, but it is not 25% inferior as a gaming mouse. Quite the opposite in my opinion, and definitely a better buy; don't bother looking for Amazon Prime Day deals.
