Geralt's haircut is terrible, 90's Polish Witcher comic translated into English.

Dark Horse has published a variety of Witcher comics, some directly adapted from the original, some based on the video game canon, and some reimagining Geralt as the hero of the Specter Hunter comics. Currently, a five-volume miniseries is being published that follows Geralt's post-retirement adventures as a vineyard tycoon after the final “Blood & Wine” expansion of The Witcher 3.

What English-speaking Witcher fans have not had the opportunity to read, however, is the first edition of the Witcher comic published in Poland between 1993 and 1995. These six comics included retellings of classic short stories like “Little Evil” and “The Last Wish,” as well as more bizarre cuts like a story about Gerard's mother and a flashback to his apprenticeship that depicted the betrayal of the Cat School of Wizards.

The illustrations were by Bogusław Polch, who had also done the cover art for the novel and illustrations for the short stories when they first appeared in Fantastyka magazine. Jenefer is instantly recognizable, but the elf's eyelashes are half Zelikania-like, while Geralt wears a topknot and bangs.

The English translation of Dark Horse will be released in a 296-page monograph called The Witcher: A Classic Collection, which will be released on March 18, 2025. Although this is quite some time away, Amazon has already begun taking pre-orders.
