PALWorld announces a new partnership with Sony Music.

After a highly successful run, dodging accusations of copyright infringement, and releasing a fantastic new patch, Palworld has confirmed the next step in its famous survival game of putting guns in the hands of adorable monsters: Palworld merchandise, namely plush toys.

"We are pleased to announce that Pal World merchandise is now available for pre-order at Aniplex Online, Aniplex's directly managed select store," tweeted Pal World's official account. Details of the product lineup will be announced at a later date on the Aniplex store website. Please look forward to an ever-expanding Pal World!"

Prior tweets also confirmed that Pocket Pair is teaming up with Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) and Aniplex for this new merchandise project. Aniplex is known for producing and distributing anime series, but also sells merchandise such as plush toys and scale figures. Therefore, it is understandable that most of the replies to Pokepair's tweets are from fans seeking plush toys and toys.

"Palworld merchandise means 1:1 scale Chillet plushies," one player replied, "Giant Lilacsaurus plushies are cool too. While a life-size chillette is outrageous, shipping this pal might be an ordeal, as it is about 14 feet long. I'm not even sure if the Rilakkuma stuffed animal will fit in my apartment, though, since it is at least three times the size of the in-game character.

News of the merchandise deal also comes just weeks after Pocket Pair confirmed that it had received no complaints from Nintendo regarding the copyright infringement claims that many players accused the survival game of when it was released. Some Pokémon fans were upset that the character models in Palworld looked so much alike, calling them lazy, while others argued that the resemblance was merely coincidental and more of a tribute to Pokémon than a copy. Either way, these accusations took a backseat to the Pocket Pair.

With this bit of good news, plus the successful release of "Sakurajima," an update to Pal World that adds new friends and islands, Pocket Pair looks set to make the most of its cute monster and begin a new business venture.
