Elden Ring: Shadow of the Eldestree, a player is robbed after the last boss crashes into a wall and dies without leaving it: "I was having fun too.

Given the sheer difficulty of the "Elden Ring: Shadow of the Elder Tree" DLC, it should come as no surprise that the last boss is a new level of torment. One player was fortunate (or unlucky, depending on your point of view) to be able to tackle the last boss.

Below are spoilers for the Shadow of the Erdtree's last boss.

Player Gneurshk_ uploaded a video of his confrontation with the rathbone to the Elden Ring subreddit, with the caption "What the f*ck? The fight is stolen!!!" with the caption, "I've been robbed of the fight. They managed to get the promised consort Radahn down to about two-thirds of his strength, and apparently that was enough; after nearly killing Gneurshk_, Radahn celebrated by phasing into the wall and disappearing completely. He can still see some attacks being fired, but after a couple of seconds he just dies.

When I first saw this, my first thought was how lucky this player was to get a free pass to beat one of the hardest bosses in the DLC. But then I wondered how I would feel if this happened to me: imagine putting all your energy into the DLC, fighting infuriating minor bosses, and advancing the story, only to have the satisfaction of having won the final battle taken away.

"I enjoyed it too," says Gneurshk_. 'I wasn't even angry, it was a fun fight. As soon as Radahn dies, Gneurshk receives his remembrance and the game is saved. This means that if you want to fight the rathbone again yourself, you will need to do an NG+, start over from a new save, or reload your previous Steam cloud save and replace it with your current save. While there is always a way to help other players take on Promised Consort Radahn using the "Let Me Solo Her" method, it is unlikely that Gneurshk_ has had enough time to learn his moveset.

Many other players have sympathy for Gneurshk_ and agree how frustrating this whole situation is." One player says in reply, "I am still disappointed that I beat Malekith because of the bleeding proc, as I started dying on purpose against Margit.

Nevertheless, if you want to move forward quickly with the DLC, another Eldenring player has put together an incredibly helpful map. This Scadutree Blessing map reveals how to get all the Scadutree Fragments without having to fight horrible opponents who would have their own remnants.

Until From Software adds a replay feature for arcade bosses (which is not impossible since "Sekiro" has a similar option), the safest, albeit most time consuming, method is to pass over irrelevant bosses and return to the one you want to challenge would be.
