Pal World's latest major update, "Sakurajima," added a large number of new pals and buildings, but no longer allows tower bosses to be kidnapped.

We have been anticipating for some time that Palworld's first major update, "Sakurajima," would be implemented. Earlier this month, Pocket Pair released a short trailer for it, which was part of the early access roadmap revealed earlier this year.

One of the biggest additions is apparently a new island named Sakurajima. A new faction called the "Moonflowers" has appeared at this location and must fight to free the island from their control. It is also inspired by historical Japanese architecture and has lots of cherry blossoms, so it is definitely a beautiful place to visit.

The new island also means new pals to discover and capture. In addition to the Mimic Pal, which looks harmless but is actually ferocious, there will also be an Eevee, a subspecies of the Element. You can also dress up all the critters with new cosmetic hats and keep food cold with new cold food boxes. If you want to check it out for yourself, check out the Steam patch notes.

Palworld's player base is not as large as it used to be, but players who are still playing seem to be very happy with this update from Pocketpair. One player said in a Reddit thread, "Yeah, it's eating me good," while another said, "It's also doubled my Palbox storage capacity. It's going to be so much easier to manage the space while breeding."

The Palbox is also a great place to store your own food.

However, some players are focusing on smaller details. One player praised, "The best part of this update is that you can now craft items in 100x increments. Others say that while it may be a small change, it is the small things that matter. Not only will this prevent players from pressing the craft button and hurting their fingers, but it will also save keyboards and controllers.

However, not all changes are good. One player noted that players can no longer capture tower bosses in hard mode. Previously, one could imprison a boss (usually an actual human) by attacking one of the officers and then fast traveling to the boss they wanted to capture. Occasionally, an officer would join the battle in a glitch and use that officer to damage the boss. The attacked boss would be stationary and could be captured without problems.

"Well, it's tragic," said one player. 'If I had known, I would have collected them all before the update. I found the official info. It's sad, but it didn't look like they were going to 'fix' it, so I'm hopeful. Good thing I needed the ritual to kidnap the special.
