Friends, here's my story: Returning to the UK from summer Gamefest, hungry and heatstruck, I arrived at one of the many food and coffee stands at Los Angeles International Airport. Blearily, I ordered some kind of egg salad sandwich consisting mainly of latte and bread. The cashier told me that this humble repair would somehow beな21, in violation of both the social contract and the covenant of mankind with the Lord God.

Being an assertive and confident type, I said absolutely nothing and paid meekly. But if I still have Dragon21, I should not have it because I could have bought Dragon Age trilogy—base games and all the DLC on the ongoing Dragon Age Steam sale. Instead of Wholewheat bread and a thin film of eggs smeared on a latte that tasted nothing, I finally turned over a new shirt, and I would have 300 hours of a very good fantasy RPG. Yes, Dragon Age 2 includes: 94%, baby.

Until 6/24 10am PDT/1pm EDT/6pm BST, you can get Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age2, and Dragon Age: Inquisition on Steam for as little asSteam10 (£8.50). The first 2 games will cost 3-3 (£2.50) each, while the Inquisition will be added at buck4 (£3.50).

As I mentioned above, it's not just the base version of each game, but the whole kit and kaboodle. Dragon Age: Origins comes with its meaty Awakening expansion and various content packs, DA2 comes with all of its DLC weapons and armor with all of its own expansion, and Inquisition comes with Hakkon, Descent, and Intruder Dlc jaws, as well as its countless disposable trinkets. Until Veilguard hits, it's literally all the mainline Dragon Age that exists forド10. You can do much worse for your money (especially at LAX).

Personally, Origin is my favorite of many: an attempt in the mid-2000s to modernize the classic Infinity Engine formula in a way that the Xbox generation (that's me) can handle and appreciate. In other words, it was the new shit. It is not perfect, but I would be surprised if it gets right than it gets wrong and it gets cheaper anytime soon.
