The release of Elden Ring: Shadow of The Erdtree has arrested a seamless Co-op mod, but its creator has an incoming fix "as soon as possible

Since the Elden Ring was released on PC modders, it has been fiddling with fromsoftware's brilliant RPG, and the most popular one is the seamless Co-op mod, which has been downloaded 3.8 million times. While the FromSoftware game was drawn to making co-op easier, Elden Ring still imposes considerable restrictions on the length of time you can spend together, and the seamless co-op simply says "sod that" and allows you to play the whole game with peers.

The release of Shadow of The Erdtree, a major new extension of the Elden Ring, is expected to cause some problems with the mod, and the Seamless Co-op is among them. In fact, as soon as Erdtree was released, the player pointed out that the Seamless Co-op stopped working. However, Luke Yui, the creator of the mod, is involved in the case and believes it has already succeeded in rewriting it, but did some testing before releasing it

"The DLC came out for half an hour," Yui wrote on the mod's Discord. "The seamless Coop rewrite has been patched to support it, but it still needs to be tested. Also, some features and bug fixes from older versions are still missing from the rewrite and are big enough to postpone the release until it is implemented[...I'm putting all the effort I can manage to release the mod as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience."

Elsewhere Yui says that the rewritten version is "working fine" and when the update is released "you won't lose the saved files."Finally, there is a reminder that perhaps some players can use that this is an individual modder doing this in their spare time and releasing it for free: "Please understand that I have worked a long time.""

It's not like players in the Elden Ring don't have enough to put their teeth in. Shadow of The Erdtree is not only tremendous on every account, but also tremendously big to the extent that no one expected. PCG's Wes Fenlon recently had the opportunity to interview software CEO and Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki, and interestingly the seamless co-op mode was featured.

"It's definitely not something we want to actively oppose or belittle, but we want to go through the whole game together," Miyazaki said. "As for where I was with Eldenling, it was simply a case of wanting a more laid-back, casual style - drop-in, boss-down, drop-out," he said. It does not add any technical restrictions to the player, so to speak, you can complete this focus and then move on.

"It's not that we don't consider other ways that you and your friends have played from start to finish."

politeness, or possible tips on where FromSoftware will go in the future" At the moment, players can only make the best expansion of recent years and seamlessly interact with buddies
