After six years, Blizzard is finally bringing back Overwatch's rarest Mercy Skin.

After six years, Blizzard is bringing back one of the most popular "Overwatch" skins ever: as part of BCRF's campaign to raise money for breast cancer research, the Pink Mercy skin will return on June 25 with a new rose gold version.

The original Pink Mercy skin costs $15, and the new rose gold version will be included in a $20 bundle with other cosmetics; Blizzard says that after the campaign ends on July 8, 100% of the purchase price (excluding platform fees and taxes) will be donated to BCRF will be donated to the BCRF.

In 2018, enough people purchased Pink Mercy skins to raise $12.7 million, which remains the largest single donation ever made to the BCRF. And that's because the main Overwatch 1 Mercy player you'll meet rotates this skin on a regular basis. This skin is one of the few that changes the color of the wings and glows bright pink while Mercy is flying in Ultimate. It also has sparkling sound effects.

The new version of the skin is basically the same, with rose gold accents on the suit and pink tips on the matching hair; someone at Blizzard knew how to draw in people like me who don't play Mercy much anymore. It would look great on the hero select screen before you lock in Chirico, as he is not strong enough to play the least offensive support.

Part of me is sad that I can no longer brag about having the original Pink Mercy skin and joke about selling it for $400 on Ebay, but I'm glad Blizzard finally, finally brought it back.

The Pink Mercy Skin will be available from June 25 through July 8.
