"The Flames are on": Dark Souls is getting a new comic, and all I want is something more terrifying than the Eldenling one

Dark Souls is getting a new cartoon. There are already quite a few cartoons and cartoons based on the Grisly soulsborne game, but we hope this will eventually take advantage of all the horrible creatures lurking in this world.

Circle Press announced a new cartoon on Twitter: "The flames are lit. A woman without a name wakes up. A must have for any FromSoftware fan, Dark Souls: Redemption brings us back to that unforgettable, familiar world in this original Dark Souls story. You can also pre-order comics now on the Circle Press website.

One of the few iterations we've seen in the last few years includes the Eldenling manga a few years ago which was packed with gags and jokes as it took a life vibe of a slice of comedy. The adaptation was made by Niichi Tobita, who is known for the everyday life of an equally funny cursed sword.

I enjoyed it for what it was: carefree reading, and seeing a point of view that gave a tremendously clue to the average player's experience In addition, it definitely helped that you could get the first couple of chapters for free. But I still missed the grotesque monster, the fear of the body, and the general unsettling atmosphere I love from the game. So here we are hoping that the new Dark Souls comic will take full advantage of everything on offer and not just a string of gags.

Fortunately, this original story seems to take things a little more seriously. It follows the story of an unnamed woman and a warrior who is tied to vows to protect her: "He dangerously approaches with the same ferocity that he is doing the secrets of his past." The Colossus, the incarnation of death, is stirred with bones under the scarred ground. And the nightmare scourge of a bygone era returns precisely its toll. As their journey unfolds, the fate of this land rests on balance.

This explanation does not guarantee fear and grotesque blood, guts, and gore, but it sounds promising. The prospect of a dirty colossus is frightening enough for me with its fat maggot-like growth for the head and the brown mucus that covers it. And I look forward to finding out what this "nightmare scourge of a bygone era" is.
