I was feeling a bit poor, so I asked Jen-Hsun Huang for reassurance, and he told me that it was all okay: "I love PC gamers."

You know how it is, sometimes you can just end up feeling a little uneasy, maybe you know that you once and after the Computex2024Nvidia keynote by CEO Jen-Hsun Huang banned off-hand references to gamer GPUs, but I'm not sure what to do. I felt like an anxious PC gamer.

Normally, that keynote didn't bother me.Computex isn't a game show in particular, and this year's focus is on AI in particular, as it is now focused everywhere. So you might have understood that the keynote focused only on AI without an announcement. It's not like you get regular gaming stuff from nvidia's GTC events, because it's not like you get regular gaming stuff from nvidia's GTC events.

However, Nvidia has had some really interesting AI-based game announcements. We were briefed before the show and were scheduled to be released during the keynote. Naturally, I assumed that references to the open source RTX Remix, the release of the SDK, and the announcement of Project G-Assist would be somewhere.

Sadly, we were worried about whether Jen-Hsun really loved our PC gamers. So, I asked him straight. Do you still love our PC gamers?

As an old—school PC gamer reader - "One of my earliest magazines, back to the old Days!""The keynote was already 2 hours, I didn't want to torture you guys anymore." -Jen Seung jokingly said of his "keynote was already 2 hours, I didn't want to torture you guys anymore.""

He then took more seriously that these features were covered elsewhere on the show, and he was looking for his team to get that information during this week's demo session. It kinda went some way to ease my worries and he said the words we all wanted to hear:

"But I love PC gamers

and it's true. Whatever Nvidia is today, whether it's an AI company or the creator of an AI factory, we've made what it is today by creating great graphics cards for gaming and coming up with interesting new features like DLSS and G—Sync.

And we bought a lot of GPUs for gaming PCs, put huge cash into Nvidia's coffers, gave it a dominant - 80% share of the gaming market, and gave it the freedom to explore new opportunities and create entirely new markets elsewhere.

So, in a way, we can say that the AI world we live in is all up to us. Yes, PC gamers. Or, y'know, it's all our fault if things go wrong and AIs takes over and turns us into batteries. One or the other.
