Computex's Corsair's new case includes a cut-price contender with the biggest beast ever and a full wraparound glass

At the Corsair booth on the Computex show floor, several new cases caught our eye. Well, you can hardly miss the new Corsair 9000D, it is absolutely massive. But it's the new Corsair3500X that will probably get our cash. Hold that thought.

The new Corsair9000D, the successor to the beastly1000D, is ridiculous. We don't have measurements, but this is big enough to support 2 separate PCs internally. The 2nd is the mini-ITX, which allows for secondary streaming setup without slightly affecting game rig latency.

There are also multiple independent liquid cooling loops, up to 4 480mm radiators, and plenty of space for what you can actually throw. We don't have pricing, but if you're on the market for this kind of stuff, do you care too?

Of course, we tend to care about value, and that's where the new Corsair3500X comes in. This is a more standard-sized ATX tower, with both sides of the case almost entirely made of glass, allowing for maximum exposure of internal components.

The good news is that pricing starts at a relatively affordableー89.99, making it one of the cheapest full-view cases yet.1 The 3500X measures 506x460x240mm (20x18x9.4 inches) and is mainly made of steel and tempered glass.  It also fully supports trendy new reverse-connected motherboards, including asus BTF and MSI Project Zero, with all the connectors at the bottom of the board. It is attractive when you have such a panoramic view of the interior.

Both glass panels are completely removable, so not only is it easy to see inside the case, but the access is also great. For recording, the 3500X supports up to E-ATX motherboards, with component clearances of 180mm (7.1 inches) for PSU, 170mm (6.7 inches) for CPU coolers and 410mm (16.1 inches) for GPUs, while the latter is a four-slot graphics card. This includes the support of the web interface.

Radiator compatibility consists of 360, 280, and 240mm at the top and sides, with space for a 120mm fan at the bottom and back of the case. Fully kitted, airflow should not be a problem at all.

The 3500X is available with or without a set of RGB fans, and it is the fanless model that hits its lowest point 89.99 price point. Oh, it's available in both black and white. Sign up for us!
