Counter-Strike pro is somehow banned for 2 lives after stealing another player's Ssd in IEM Dallas. To blame, cannabis

Counter-Strike pro player Adam "nbgee12" Zanzoul was banned from iem Dallas 2024 and permanently banned from the FACEIT platform after being found stealing SSDs from fellow competitors (as first reported by Dust2). Almost incredibly, this comes about 100 months after ESL reduced the previous 2-year ban imposed on Zanzoul thanks to the new policy, and in an attempt to further stretch its credibility, zanzoul says it all rests on the devil's weed.

The incident took place in a small time on May 31 after 19-year-old Zanzoul entered a backstage area that included equipment from other players. Zanzoul helped himself to Ssd belonging to his fellow experts Jake "Stewie2K" Yip, Nikola "NiKo"Kovaş, and Guy "NertZ" Iluz.

Reports of the incident first began to surface on social media before Zanzoul gave an interview to fellow player and streamer Collin "CoJoMo" Moren to discuss what had happened. Zanzoul admits that he took 3 SSDs out of a larger pile of hardware and put them back in his hotel room at the Omni Dallas Hotel (connected to the event venue).

Zanzoul's "tl;dr" version of the event was that he went to the venue at 4 a.m. and said, "I put it in the venue during the night, I was in a place where I wasn't supposed to be somewhere, and I took stuff.""If you're wondering why SSDs were lined up in large numbers, these include individual player configurations and match settings, but are held over time by event organizers to ensure the integrity of the competition and a smooth set-up of matches.

Zanzoul said that ESL staff, please drum roll, after seeing evidence he was doing it on security footage, he was detained by the Dallas police, and ESL decided not to make the accusation, but banned him for 5 years before upgrading this to a permanent ban the next day.

Here's the good part. Description "Zanzoul has a lot of them. Maybe it was just trolling, he suggests rather incredible. Or that he is a self-confessed "moron" and, in other words, too rude to reproduce, "I do stupid things sometimes." He thought it was no big deal, and says he has never done anything like this or been arrested before. When later contacted by Dust2 for comment, Zanzoul further claimed that he was using marijuana and was high at the time. Finally comes the mea culpa:

"Words cannot adequately express how humiliating and disheartening this is," Zanzoul says. "I'm really fed up with my actions and I promise to learn from this experience.

Fellow pro m0NESY posted another theory on his telegram page: "I was in IEM Dallas, some guys stole Niko and Stewie's SD cards and downloaded cheats on them What kind of crazy person would think of such a thing?""

Whatever the reason for this act, it appears to be a career end for young players whose previous actions were not exemplary. Zanzoul has previously received a permanent ban for ban avoidance (!From ESL, FACEIT has been banned from the Pro League due to ATTEMPTED match modification,And have a history of being aggressive and unprofessional online and face-to-face. Raising the equipment of fellow professionals at major events and reoccurring the anger of ESL is mind bogglingly stupid because in this situation was recently given a second chance

I contacted Zanzoul for comment, and will be updated with any response. On the other hand, I will leave the beauty of CS players who are inclined to medicine.

"His brain must be studied in the future. What kind of decision is this being made?"
