The makers of Parkitect have a new construction game to come and it's a frog colony sim called Croakwood

Here's a nice little surprise in the midst of the summer Gamefest: the makers of excellent building and management sim Parkitect are cooking a little something in secret. Today, at the Glitch Future Of Play showcase, developer Texel Raptor revealed a new game, but it looks fantastic.

It's called Croakwood and it's a colony sim where you build the most attractive small town for a bunch of adorable frog citizens. The short but gorgeous trailer will activate your wish list reflection, I'm betting:

"In the heart of Cloakwood Forest, help the locals to build and grow their homes in this relaxing town building and management game unlike any other," says Texel Raptor It's a good idea. "The Frog

features froggy to design, create structures, plan, decorate towns, explore ancient and wild forests, and guide these small amphibians as they learn to settle and thrive," Croakwood's Steam page reads.

There's no release date or release window yet, but you can check it out on Steam while you wait impatiently. I liked the look of it so much that I had to make a small gallery of all the images I could find:
