Even as Arrowhead shows a move towards a slower, more sustainable pace of helldivers2 updates, too many Arrowhead chief Creative Officer Johan Pilestedt seems to think so at least when dreaming of the next installment of the Super Earth ordinance. Taking to Twitter over the weekend, Pilestedt put out a phone call asking for the community's best ideas for Eagle air support stratagems. Fans of Helldivers2 were more than happy to provide their creative input. At the time of writing, Pilestedt's request for the idea of stratagem has received more than 5,000 replies. The proposal is dr.From Strangelove references to punchier strafe runs ranging from simple demands for audio. And naturally, some took the opportunity to broadcast dissatisfaction about the change in balance.

As to whether any of these ideas might appear in the game: I don't really expect to see a squad of mini-mechs or a swarm of drones hit the Helldivers battlefield. "Let's see if any will be picked up," Pilestedt appreciated "many great ideas," which is a mild disappointment if I ever read one, perhaps sourcing feature concepts directly from the community could expose the studio to potential intellectual property disputes, and this break-up could lead to a potential intellectual property dispute. The storming session could be left safe in the area of the creative movement of the community. But you'll never know in Helldivers2 — even if the air-dropped mini-mech troops finally show up, I certainly won't reject them.
