Destiny's famous "lore daddy" will release a 10-hour summary of its history, with 12,000 people tuning in for its live premiere

Destiny's storytelling and World building has come a long way from the age of grimoire Cards, but it is a dense game with proper nouns that necessarily make it easier to track lore Destiny 2, and it only gets density: more in-game lore books and implications Each season and extended piles on heavy item descriptions. In the end, any of them could become the focus for an ongoing story. Fortunately, we have an tireless Destiny lore Youtuber like my name is Byf, affectionately titled "Lore Daddy" by his many students. And do not get it twisted: those orbs take a hell of a lot of orders. A recap of Byf's latest Destiny story, released today at its live premiere, rings the clock in a healthy 9 hours — I think about 3 of that 1 involves cataloguing the importance of the universe in different forms of setting. Obviously, there is an enthusiastic audience for it. As Byf tweeted about two hours into the live premiere of the video, about 12,000 people were watching to brush up on the mastery of Destiny's lore in time for its final form.

For story-hungry Destiny players, Byf's work is a valuable reference. It's been nearly 2 years since the original release of Destiny7, but I don't fully understand how to present that lore in a consistent way. Hell, which claims that Byf's history recap's 10-hour running time, which covers everything from setting prehistory to current in-game moments, is not a substantial undertaking for viewers, it's as long as the ring movie's Lord's back-to-back marathon (unless you're watching an extended version). But otherwise, it's still less time than you have to spend cross-referencing the fan wiki and the Ishtar Collective. Take my word for it. I've been doing it for a decade. And while I can't recoup the thrilling time I spent investigating the existing evidence about the origin of the vex, it's better for someone else to do the same. And hi there was plenty of time at the premiere. As I write this, about 6 hours of lore remains. In about 30 minutes, we'll start summarizing Destiny2's story! Or you can watch it at your own pace. If you start tomorrow you will have to look around for two and a half hours a day to catch up before the final form. calm down.
