After two years long in Early Access, my favorite indie Elder Scrolls - which has gotten its full release as well —and it's the first time you've flown in your own airship.

One of my most anticipated games is, paradoxically, the one I've already logged in for 19 hours, but I'm excited about the news of Dread Delusion's 1.0 release. The Indie Mini Morrowind will be launched entirely on May 14.

It's the best kind of RPG set in a surreal world where human civilization clings to asteroids around small stars and medieval and early industrial societies rub under alien blood-red skies. The most powerful political force is a brutal, atheistic inquisition driven to eliminate the last gods, but their authoritarian ways do not necessarily make the foreign gods of this world a good man.

Dread Delusion focuses on the exploration I love— like the various door-opening skills of Deus Ex, your stat investment determines how you approach the level and the world My favorite is the "lore" skill where you can see the hidden switch to open the secret door, as well as the sequence. It is a speed boost magic spell that allows all kinds of Penanigans to put the border on the speed destruction.

The launch of 1.0 has long promised not only a resolution to fear delusional main quests, but also a visit to the poisonous underworld of the planet where humanity fled to asteroids, but developer Lovely Hellplace recently revealed an exciting new end-game feature.A manoeuvrable airship to fly around the island, both in third-person and first-person perspective. It reminds me of the endgame airship you always seem to get on with Jrpg, but it applies to a seamless open world in the style of an Elder Scrolls game - usually you have to wait for a mod for this kind of thing!

I also had a real RPG sicko moment when I saw artist Artyom Tucović peeking through the game's Fallout-style modular epilogue slideshow. Dread Delusion has already done a great job showing results in the game, and at least 1 settlement is partially destroyed depending on your actions, and the classico RPG epilogue strikes me as the perfect accompaniment.

Dread Delusion will be on sale on 20/20, with 9% off the regular May 16 price, so it's a good idea to defer to buy for a few days, but you can use it on Steam at any time on the launch date.
