I'm so frustrated that they call the new Hobbit game the "Lord of the Ring game

English is a quirky language, but what they did with the new Hobbit game title can't be blamed for the antics of grammar rules. It is a sin committed in the name of branding and a terrible sin.

The full title of Wītā Workshop's upcoming cozy Hobbit Life Sim is: "The Story of the Shire: Lord of the Ring Game."

The crime is so heinous that an unconscious mind may edit it, so here's the last bit again: "A Lord of the Rings Game."

I admit that writers tend to indulge in a theatrically strong opinion about the right language that others do not give crap, and yes, I sometimes found pleasure in being senselessly dogmatic about the meaning of the word "make up"."I thought that reacting to the use of this felony article with something more than a shrug might be just touching, but every time I see it again, I become re-convinced that I'm not the only one repulsed by "A."I'm not the only one who has been repulsed by "A."I'm not the only one who has been repulsed by "A."I'm not the only one who has been repulsed by "A."I'm not the only one who has been repulsed by "A."I'm not the only one who has been repulsed by "A."I'm not the only one who has been repulsed by "A."I'm not the only one who has been repulsed by "A."I'm not the only one who has been repulsed by "A.""

I don't think I've seen the rule broken here — omit the article from the title when the article is followed by a title that starts with the article (i.e., the article is not a title).", If the title is used as a modifier, omit the title article) — but it doesn't have to be normal, so that's it. I've never met anyone who goes around saying things like "Matrix movies" or "the Godfather DVD.""

Unless the arm is twisted, I can't believe anyone would subtitle their game to a 'Lord of the Rings game', so I think the person dealing with the Lord of the Rings trademark (or the 'Lord of the Rings trademark') must have insisted on holding the 'the'.

To be completely accurate, the full title of the game on Steam is: Tales of The Shire: A The Lord of The Rings™ game, because when I reproduced the title above, I actually omitted the trademark symbol. What a depravity! (But the game looks cool.)
