Sony will back up on request that helldivers2 players log in to their PSN account

A few days ago, Sony allowed Steam to "temporarily make the requirement for linking your Steam account to your PlayStation Network account an option because of technical issues at the launch of HELLDIVERS2." The grace period will expire this year."It worked well with PC players, who were willing to be allowed to hand over their personal information to Sony.

No, wait, that's not what happened. They dropped more than 200,000 negative reviews on Helldivers, leading to an apology from the CEO of developer Arrowhead.

While some of the complaints on social media have edge over tantrum areas, there are valid issues behind the uproar. Not all countries have access to the PlayStation Network, and Helldivers2 is pulling out of sales in 177 countries and territories where you can buy the game before and play it without worrying.

Well, three days after pure shitstorm, Sony is flashing. In a tweet, the publisher said, "We heard your feedback about the Helldivers2 account link update. The 5/6 update required you to link your Steam and PlayStation Network accounts for new players and current players after 5/30, but it will not move forward.

Sony continues, "We are still learning what is best for PC players and your feedback has been invaluable." Thanks again for your continued support of Helldivers2 and we keep you updated on future plans."

Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt said, "First of all, we were impressed by the willpower and ability of the @helldivers2 community to work together. Secondly, I would like to thank my @PlayStation partners and friends for their quick and effective decision to make PSN linking an option. Together we want to set a new standard for what live games are and how developers and communities support each other to create the best gaming experience."

Hopefully, Helldivers2 will return to sales in all places where it's no longer available and perhaps we'll see its user review average come back again
