If you are planning to spend big money on a new gaming PC, you can certainly expect a few things that check off your list for 1, 1 of the fastest graphics cards you can buy. And it should have a decent CPU to ensure that it can reach its full potential. Lots of fast RAM, lots of storage, sensible cooling - they're all important too. Taking all of that and putting it in a simple but stylish case, we got the Yeyian Phoenix gaming PC.

Let's start with the Core i7 13700f processor. This is Intel's last generation model, but with a total of 24 threads with 8 P cores and 8 E cores, it's fine. The default TDP is only 65W, but there is no guarantee that Yeyian is using a standard Intel configuration at the moment. Even if not, the 13700F is a non-K model, so it won't get very hot.

While these e-cores are not very useful in games, they are ideal for many threads to handle important tasks, such as rendering and video editing in content creation workloads. High-end Cpus and Gpus require dual-channel RAM that is fast enough on the motherboard, and this Yeyian Phoenix comes with 32GB of DDR5-6000. Sure, it's 7% faster than the default maximum RAM speed supported, but Intel's chips easily cope with higher clock speeds. This time last year, DDR5-4800 is often used on expensive gaming PCs, so it's nice to see vendors using something more powerful.

It's a bit disappointing that there's only 1TB of NVMe storage, but I expect that 2TB will usually be offered at this price. However, such PCs are usually a bit expensive, and it's not clear how many SSD slots there are in Phoenix, but there are at least one more, so the 2nd cheap

As already mentioned, you can't overclock the i7 13700F, and the B760 chipset is the best choice for you. It is also not possible to drop the K version of Intel chip on the motherboard to overclock. But unless you love tinkering with your gaming PC, you won't miss it — just plug it in, turn it on, and have some serious games
