After years of avoiding Magic: The Gathering, the new Hatsune Mixet looks like the last nail in the coffin for me

Last week, Magic: The Gathering announced a new Secret Lair collab with famous virtual pop star Hatsune Miku. There are 4 Secret Lair drops, each of which will be released seasonally through 2024.

We already had a sneak Peak in the first six card sets, Hatsune Miku: Sakura Superstar, and honestly, all the cards hunted for While my personal favorite is the toss-up between the famous Miku by Yuko Shimizu and Harmony by Syutsuri. One of the four other cards I have offered

In True Miku Fashion, many other artists have created their own illustrations for this upcoming set. This includes designs by Justyna Dura, Jehan Choo, Mandy Jurgens, and Dani Pendergast.

I've always enjoyed collecting Tcg, starting with the Pokemon EX Delta Species and the Yu-gi-Oh Gold series when I was young. I tried to keep my collection up to date but I would not invest in other Tcg to save my bank account from further ruin but it looks like I need to break my rules for this upcoming mixet.

If, like me, you want to buy gold at Miku Secret Lair drop, you will be happy to know that the pre-order for the first set will be published in 2024/5/13, 9am PDT/12pm EST/5pm BST on the Secret Lair website. You can get non foil version for non30 or foil version for foil40 in English or Japanese.  Set in 2020, The Godzilla Lands showcased monsters like Mothra, Rodan, Hedorah and apparently Godzilla against stunning landscapes in full art renditions, so it's not the first time my head has been turned by a secret lair run. The Lord of the Rings set was also so close to putting me in the TCG, but despite the beautiful Galadriel, the gift-giver, Gandalf and the white rider card, I managed to hold myself back.

Honestly, collecting magic cards is probably a long time to come at this speed, and I press the button, Hatsune Miku: Sakura Superstar Set

But if you want to enjoy the magic and not be sucked into the world of draining TCG wallets, you can use the 90s. New Magic: The Gathering takes place in the fantastic world of the ages
