If you're like me, you're already eager to be 6/21 when it drops Erdtree's Elden Ring extension shadow. In Fromsoftware's biggest expansion to date, it promises a slew of new scary enemies to battle, spooky lands to explore, and weapons to collect. But in the meantime, we can cruise around the land between styles as we collect all the runes, blacksmith stones, and amulets that our hearts desire in a brand new mountain. Huge capybara.

Delamain's "Capybara Island" mod, available on Nexus Mods, turns our beloved torrent into a giant fluffy capybara. Apparently it also changes all goats, deer and wild boars as well, begs the question of whether our brave mod authors took the time to animate the capybara rolling like a mania. Why does the Eldenling goat roll like that, anyway "Someone pings the lore man, here's the big question.

The mod also promises fun capybara facts on the loading screen. Perhaps it will tell you that capybaras are the largest rodents in the world (they can grow up to 170 pounds!).Or that their large pre-incisions do not stop growing, and you need to grind them with food or bark. Maybe you will tell us about the relationship with the yellow-headed caracala, where the adorable bird rides on its back and eats ticks.

I haven't ridden the capybara from the fields of Limgrave to the frozen summit of the giant yet, but I'm intrigued by the last line of the mod's description."Perhaps the Mohg's trident will be replaced by the Capybara's head staff, or the Raya Lucaria Library's red wolf will instead be a giant rodent with a sword clenched to a powerful incisors.
