Manor Rose's upcoming patch plans include tweaking archers and fixing one issue that took away my town

There are some specific plans for the first Manor Lords patch, but it seems to be able to fix some unpopular issues in the new Early Access City Builder, including the one that broke my town.

Developer Greg "Slavic Magic"Styczeş touched on everything he is trying to fix and change in a simple Twitter post. This includes fixing "all homeless bugs", "adjusting archers' damage", "reducing the speed at which ai claims territory", "improving sawpit efficiency/storage", and my personal preference, "adjusting the trade oversupply mechanism.""

The homeless bug has seen villagers gather around random areas of people's villages and not choosing homes to settle down, but the rate at which ai claims territory has become a problem for those who can't keep up with more difficult modes like restoring peace. There was also a known issue that the shooter was not doing enough damage for a while. But the last change with a glut of trade is probably the most important update for my village.

Before Manor Lords was released to Early Access, problems were brought to Styczeş's attention by several Youtubers and news organizations who were messing with city builder. We found that the trading system could be equipped to create endless money hacks by placing all the chips in 1 tradable item and mass-producing them rather than diversifying the output.

In order to prevent this from happening in every town, Styczeß added the ability to punish this strategy by dropping the price of items that were oversold. While this has been great to force us to become a competent mayor, it is important to note that your town is expanding in population and has only a few resources

Currently I have a population of only 209 people, but as I am trying to feed the ever-growing people, I have to export clay tiles and eggs. Certainly, I was able to maintain a constant supply of about 400 eggs at any time (mainly thanks to having all citizens own at least 3 chickens), but thanks to the nerf of Styczeß, my eggs lose value on every sale.

I appreciate being forced to change the products I sell, but when you do not have access to many resources and are constantly chased by hungry villagers, it may be hard to justify selling my crops of wheat and barley. But hopefully this upcoming patch will switch things up a bit and allow me to put my 400 and something eggs into good use.

Styczeß did not say when the first patch would fall, but now we are working on it.
