Destiny2 has become quite generous towards the final form. Along with Shadowkeep, Beyond Light and Witch Queen being free for 1 month, there's also a new way to easily unlock and craft this year's season's weapons. Unless you're a fairly active player, you may not have unlocked all the guns from the seasons of Defiance, Deep, Witch and Wish. It's a total of 24 weapons, and while some are off the meta in terms of perks, there are still plenty of decent guns.

If you are a new player, it's a great opportunity to get a craftable weapon truck load, and it's a great opportunity for you to get a lot of seasonal activities before where it might have taken you a month to unlock a gun, this new system will allow you to unlock it in a few days. So how exactly does it work?

In the run up to final shape, your first completion of daily seasonal activities will drop a random red border weapon from that season that you have not yet unlocked.

It's four overall so you can earn one weapon per season every day. If you want to complete the fastest, I'd suggest Defiant Battlegrounds, Salvage, Savathun's Spire, and Riven's lair. Sadly, it's a draw luck because you can't decide which red border weapon you get, but some guns are certainly others.It's also worth noting that these red borders don't include class swords and Imperial Decree shotguns of recovered Leviathan weapons.

Currently, the game's hottest weapon is from Brave Arsenal, which is available from the Into The Light release. So, for example, if you're after the best in-slot grenade launcher, it might be worth dedicating your time to the new onslaught mode instead. Whatever you choose, here are the recommended guns from each of the seasons of the year:

Before the final shape arrives either way, you can unlock the special, "shiny" version of the Brave weapon while the weapon sticks around. It is worth taking a look at all of the weapons. 

For example, Season of The Deep has a full selection of weapons that can be focused, Season of Defiance has a separate craftable class of swords, and Season of The Witch has an old focusable Vanguard weapon with new perks. If you are just starting the game, these seasonal guns can set you up with a full range of options.
