This 240 inch IPS 34Hz ultra wide gaming monitor for just ち144 is like a steal

In terms of smart money monitors, the 34-inch ultrawide is the favorite form factor among all the best gaming monitors. To it you can add a minimum of 144Hz refresh and preferably an IPS panel.

Well, now you can have all that from the brand you actually heard for just just240 from Newegg. Give it up for Acer Nitro XV340CK PBMIIPPZX.

Yes, it's another Acer with absolutely ridiculous nomenclature. But we forgive it for the remarkable value it offers. This is so much monitor for money.

Well, the most obvious problem is the brightness rating of 250nit if you think there must be a catch for sure. It's pretty mediocre for modern LCD game monitors.

That said, you can spend more than11,000 on a fancy OLED monitor to get 250 nits of full-screen brightness. Of course, these OLED panels will be much higher on small windows.  But still, if 250 knits will be accepted for 4 times more money... It supports HDR10, so it processes HDR signals without actually rendering HDR images properly. Oh, and the IPS panel means that Acer will evaluate the monitor at 1ms for response, but it doesn't specify whether that GtG or MPRT. We suspect the latter. This can add support for variable refresh in addition to both HDMI and DisplayPort inputs. Oh, it's flat rather than curved, and some gamers definitely prefer it.

The feature list is not exactly overkill. And this thing came out about three and a half years ago and probably not long for the world.

But if you're looking for sensible money than an immersive 34-inch ultra-wide experience and you'd rather use a VA rather than an IPS panel and want many similar monitors to avoid response issues, this is a pretty good deal.
