Making a goofy Sim version of your rivals to enact a little digital revenge on them is still the American football team doing it this week, a lot of NFL teams released a video to announce the 2024 season schedule, and I'm just not sure what the tradition is. They enjoyed it a little bit as they learned to be a part of it. The Kansas City Chiefs have made their take on those hydraulic Press videos - crush the competition, do you get it?-The Jacksonville Jaguars did a classic superhero cartoon・style animation of defeating all challengers, and the Los Angeles Chargers used the Sims 2 to create the entire video.

And it's long, like a whole three-and-a-half roast. The jerseys all nod to other teams, but, perhaps for trademark reasons, they are blurry and don't actually have a logo, but the gist is clear. Excavations at Raiders players wearing clown makeup, a Kells Brothers podcast and references to Taylor Swift have emerged to call Travis Kelce away. Broncos fans will get a better uniform and a choice to want a quarterback. It's obviously a lot of internal jokes for football fans that are lost to me, but there's also a bit of torture of the classic Sims.

It starts by dumping a bunch of sims wearing other team jerseys into the pool and removing the ladder. This, indeed, is an outdated way of killing unwanted sims, but was entirely the Sims 2 thing. We all went back that day and drowned some sims. The Bengals section has a Buccaneer who is swallowed by a carnivorous cow plant and dancing during a kitchen fire, and I'm willing to guess it's a classic trio of sim murders.

Of course, the gag has been quite modified with custom posters and team banners to sell. I'm curious if someone actually slapped some texture exchange mods together for the game or if most of this was done with video editing.I choose to believe that someone from the Chargers organization really got into the weed of custom content on the Sims.
