The first patch of Olympus size of Hades 2 introduces a quality of life fix that we have craved

Hades 2 is already worth playing in Early Access, but as more features are added and player feedback continues to roll, it's a game we should expect to change a ton. Just a week after the launch of the game's Early Access, we now have our first patch and it's a big one.

Hades 2 puts a great emphasis on collecting resources during each run to unlock new features and conversations at intersections — you don't just get combat rewards or anything useful with merchants. At startup, it was necessary to equip the appropriate collection tools to display the respective resources at runtime. If you're just starting the game and you need to upgrade practically everything, this is a bit of resistance.

"When you unlock the corresponding collection tool, it can now be collected at any resource point," the patch note read. "You can prioritize the tools available in the training ground to see that resource as often as you used to, but resources for tools that are not prioritized are displayed much less frequently."

So the rhythm is almost the same, and the player has to choose the tool of the resource that is most needed at the beginning of the run, but this additional passive resource Perhaps more importantly, we do not get it "Oh, come on!"The moment you bring a pickaxe and hit a massive node that needs a shovel.

Supergiant notes that almost all of the adjustments in this first update are in response to player feedback, which is pretty impressive. I'm usually the type of guy who "waits for early access to a finished game", but Supergiant's quick response here is a good example of how early access works for everyone. You can read the full patch notes (including some hidden spoilers) on Steam.
