So far, the Manor Rose modding scene has focused on essentials: free beer, a bigger punch-up, and a lot more that you can walk around as Geralt.

Manor Lords is still in early access, and while developer Greg "Slavic Magic" Styczeú has released a massive patch that fixes many of the small issues encountered by players so far, there are still some pretty useful and wacky mods that can get the job done.

If you have not yet seen the latest experimental patches or simply do not want to encounter King's tax, this mod will smooth ale production for you Especially since villagers tend to receive immediate supplies, it is difficult to balance crops to maintain constant ale production.

This is where the Jesus Ale Tech mod can help you, it removes the need for malt to make ale, and therefore the production cost is nothing explanation gets right to the point: "Oh god, those crazy bastards figured it out." That upgraded church sent Jesus to your people and taught them His way. Except that they learned ale instead of wine."There may even be a possibility that the church will brew beer in the future, something that many monasteries and churches were well known during the Middle Ages.

But not all mods need to make your game easier. Some, like the adapted bandits, will primarily challenge your skills. This mod prevents bandit raids from being limited to a certain number (usually 4)."The size and frequency of bandit raids will increase depending on your total wealth (regional wealth + Treasury) and your total units."But if you are not satisfied with that number, you can customize the configuration of the mod. We also recommend using the Mod Unlock Militia Limit, Increased Garrison Limit, Mercenaries Pool Fix, and hildebolt's Vanguard Army (Difficulty mod).

It's pretty surprising that Manor Lords already has 144mod of various sizes.

The discussion on r/ManorLords revealed that most players have done bare bones, at least 85% of those who answered the question of whether someone is actually using mods that Styczeß works through initial issues and updates said it is not. "We're waiting for the game to be more 'complete' before we start hitting the mod," says one player.

And while players have found some interesting aesthetic mods, like one that can walk around the villagers as Geralt from Witcher 3, or one that provides VR mode to Manor Rose, most are just happy to wait for fixes and play games like Styczeú. It's a good idea.
