After an epic 24-hour battle with Malenia and the death of 1,700 people, the Key Senate finally defeated Elden Ring

It took more than 165 hours of hard work and 1,700 brutal, sometimes funny deaths, but Kai Cenat, one of the biggest streamers on Twitch, finally beat the Elden Ring.1

Last night, when a cryptic single-line message appeared on my Twitter feed, I learned of Cenat's superhuman efforts: "Kai Cenat has been fighting Malenia straight for 10 hours."

What?

That was true. Not only that, he had played the Elden Ring for nearly 130 hours by that point and had died more than 1,400 times.

At some point in the epic battle, he thought she was, but no, only to know that it was not so easy.

By the time he finally defeated Eldenling's notoriously difficult demigod, he had been up to 148.5 hours, more than 200 times more dead. The bard used to sing about such heroes; the old would write epic poems celebrating mighty deeds. Given that, I would say that the celebration was more than justified.

Malenia is the big host of the Elden Ring, but far from the only big problem, and for my money, Cenat, who discovers that Starscourge Radahn is not the pushover he thought, makes it an even more interesting moment:

Man, I know that feeling.

Like me, Senna was obviously not a soul-like player and of course led to problems. According to Kotaku, for example, he spent 6 hours dicking with the wood Sentinel mini-boss near the start of the game.

It's like what wears a man.

His marathon finally caught the attention of Eldenling Publisher Bandai Namco, which prompted him:

He certainly persevered, and "This game is a masterpiece," Senat said when his marathon was finally over. "I have never felt anything in my soul like this. I do not know what game compared to this now... This is my favorite game I've ever played for a marathon on the stream and it's a fact.

"I've never felt so good about the game since 2017. I was watching Spider-Man like it was the best fucking game ever. Now every game I touch after this will be mentally easy for me. Do you understand that 'This game broke me mentally and built me mentally. So Elden ring, you have my respect... I was playing 2K, Call of Duty, and I thought it was the peak. This opened my eyes to what could be the peak.

He is not wrong. And now he is the Lord of Elden.
