If you haven't somehow played Baldur's Gate3 yet, GOTY in 2023 is on sale for the lowest 15% off since launch

Look, it's Baldur's Gate 3 and is being sold on Steam for less money than it was at any point since launch. If you haven't somehow checked out BAFTA Beasts, the Game Awards Show Hat Trick Champion, PC gamers' own 2023 game and 16 year review Highscore Champion, what are you waiting for, Hoss Baldur's Gate4 isn't coming soon, or from the same developer.

Sure, Steam9 isn't exactly a huge sale With steam's meme-like trend turning off over 50% bonanzas, but given that it's less than 1 year since one of the best RPGs we've ever played hit us like bolt from the blue, the 15% off sale isn't too shabby. It is not.

And Baldur's Gate3 is worth playing at any price: the reactivity between classico hardcore CRPG crunch and mega production value, and the appeal of the masses that everyone always said was impossible — even those living for this kind of game. As PCG Online editor Fraser Brown said in his 97% review — our highest score in 16 years — that's all we've ever loved from this genre

As a lover of this vintage and style RPG that was born in the mid-90s, the party was over before I came here. It felt like.Yeah, there will always be new RPGs, but you have to sacrifice the malleability of Fallout 2 and Arcanum for development time.Or Planescape: A heart-bending encounter due to the sheer word count of Torment and the cost of expensive 3D cutscenes. Divinity: Original Sin2, Disco Elysium, and now Baldur's Gate3 have all fallen in recent years, earning a new high watermark for a genre that previously faced backwards.

So if you've enjoyed Fallout, The Witcher, and Mass Effect, or if you're interested in Rpg in general, you'll probably want to play Baldur's Gate3.Until 5/23, you can effectively reduce the cost of a nice sandwich lunch (with chips and drinks depending on the cost of living in the city) from the entrance fee.
