Call of Duty's Gundam Crossover has fans whipping their mouths, but it's not all about the look

Apart from reviving a once-dead character, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare3 and Warzone season4, which are about to kick off next week, include a new crossover - Gundam is coming to CoD.

Call of Duty tweeted a short video to announce a collaboration made up of Gundam shadows against a building with neon signs. It's not much, but it's still pretty cool for the mech fans out there. A lot of players have expressed excitement about this new crossover, the couple have even said that this might persuade them to pick up CoD: "Between this and the road to nowhere crossover, I'm sure someone is trying to get me to play CoD specifically," said 1 player. Layer says in a Reddit thread.

I'll admit at first that it's really cool to see a mecha suit in Call of Duty, but there's a size issue. Crossover has a human-sized Gundam fighting against other operators, and the official line is that you're cosplay as Gundam, and that it's practically a suit of armor that allows you to "awaken your new type of power," but if the mechs are small, it's not a good idea. I can't help but imagine that this is controlled by people like me.

One of the key aspects of Gundam 1 is how complex these mobile suit features are, and perhaps the most and historically of all mecha franchises, the brand is not doing its best when its complexity and the anime from which it originates are ignored. For example, 6v6's competitive team shooter Gundam Evolution chose a simple overwatch approach to things, ignoring the complex mechanics of the mobile suit and the premise of the anime. Needless to say, it did not get the best reception and shut down towards the end of last year.

However, this Call of Duty crossover is not a standalone game, so it's not so important that the suit is usually not accurate. Honestly, fighting other players as Gundam seems to be a cool experience.

At the beginning of Season 4, in addition to themed events, the RX-78-2, XVX-016, MS-06S Zak II Gundam Operator skins, three blueprints, calling cards, two load screens, weapon stickers and charms, large decals, and some of the "Newtype Finisher" finishing moves. There are three different mobile suit bundles that include either
