Valve Hero Shooter deadlock alleged spill video looks like a little bioshock endless

Valve has not responded to an email about Deadlock, an unpublished Valve hero shooter allegedly leaked on the Internet. This is pretty typical for Valve, who one day tends to say nothing about leaks or rumors before dropping the announcement of a casual blog post. This time we'll see if that's their way.

For now, I'm not sure if Deadlock is really Valve's next game, but at least some screenshots leaked first that someone created a very Valve-like hero shooter prototype, and now there's a video of the gameplay via PlayerIGN on X (to be clear). (This is not the website IGN). Take a look at the following:

If it's real and still looks like this, Deadlock will be Valve's first third-person shooter (not really the same, unless you count the Alien Swarm). Valve-watcher Gabe Follower explained last week: "6 vs 6 is fighting on a huge map of 4 lanes. Available abilities and items. Tower defense mechanics. The fantasy setting was mixed with steampunk. Magicians, strange creatures and robots. Similar to Bioshock Infinite, high-speed movement using floating rails."

The BioShock Infinite comparison is at the point. Watching the video, you almost believe that you were watching the prototype of the endless multiplayer mode. It's not only Skyrail, it's also the urban aesthetic of the early 1900s, and it's also the very valve, as seen in Team Fortress 2's turn-of-the-century American design and illustration inspiration.

This video also contains descriptions of some characters. Some of them look cool, but there are some of the decisions I wonder about. For example, there is a blue sniper, which seems to be a strange choice given that overwatch also has a blue sniper. Was she not green?

They look pretty Valve-ey, but a couple might be alternative reality TF2 characters: Ro playing like our leaker is wearing a spy brown suit

If Deadlock is really Valve's next game, there are a few things (if released) at the time of release. These leaks are from beta

Third—person Lane Shooter would not be what I said if someone asked me what kind of game Valve wanted to pursue next, but I think the new free-to-play Ubisoft would be a good idea. I'm a little surprised to have fun with XDefiant, the most popular shooter in the game, so I don't always know what I want.

Let us know in the comments how you feel about it.
