Gaming laptops used that the proper thing I mean was a big, nasty beast. And I'll be honest, there are still some of the super-high-power stuff. But thankfully, for those who don't like to throw the weight of lead into our backpacks and move around, it's now possible to buy a very powerful gaming machine with a small, light chassis.

We've been hunting for the best anniversary PC gaming deals, and I've pulled out some of the best bargains on compact gaming laptops, to help put portable power in your hands for.

You might think you'd downplay the specs on a compact machine, but the truth is that you can get all the important combinations of fast CPU, RAM, GPU combos, decent storage space, and a good-looking screen for very reasonable money. 

All in a form factor as comfortable as knocking out an email in a coffee shop or playing a movie in flight as it is playing a demanding game.

So let's crack at some options, we kick things with a bang this lot mini but mighty

with a kind of wildcard at the end for good measure, this Lenovo Legion Slim5 has a combination of screen and hardware that makes other laptops jealous. It's a great place to start. Keeping in mind that a desktop machine powered by the RTX4060 can be seen for aboutプ1,000, here's a decent CPU, 16GB LPDDR5X, 1TB SSD, Moba with OLED screen

It's a handsome little machine which you can proudly use in any obvious game to distract. This is something that you can show off at your next meeting without having to brand yourself. And for those who think the mobile RTX4060 is not particularly powerful, it may be true. But you have to take advantage of DLSS3, constantly pushing their frame rate to a smooth level while maintaining the image quality that looks sharp on its amazing display.

Laptops with OLED can be very expensive. Under magnificent, with these kinds of specifications, this is a straight bargain.

The Intel Core I7 13700H is a good idea as long as the mobile Cpu features a 14-core, 20-thread, up to 5GHz boost clock. And still a little beast.

If the game is yours — and let's face it, if you're here, it's probably — check out that GPU. Many laptops are equipped with the mobile RTX4070, but on smaller form factor machines, it can often be a low-power version. Here you are getting a 140W model for proper mobile gaming performance.

The screen is also a bit Corker, as if that's not enough. This is a 250P mini LED IPS backlit panel with a refresh rate of 1600Hz, very nice in motion, and a DisplayHDR600 rating.

Many laptops, small (if not particularly clean) chassis. Personally, I count the hardware trumps looks on this all day.

The HP Omen Transcend14 tends to go in and out of the deal, but it's one of our go to recommendations for a great compact gaming laptop. The configuration you choose here offers a Core ULTRA1H, one of Intel's latest Meteor Lake Cpus, a 155H, a 65W RTX4060 (which can be upgraded to a little more rtx4070), and a 512GB SSD. 

It's certainly a bit on the small side, but if you don't mind spending a little, you can upgrade to the 9TB version for 90 1.

There are 2 major factors that make this laptop worth noting. Number one is its fantastic OLED panel. This is a 500P OLED model with a peak brightness rating of 1800 nits, covered with edge-to-edge glass, which really helps these colors pop.

Two, that is the chassis. This is a super stylish and very slim laptop with a configurable RGB backlit keyboard. In Shadow black (or ceramic white), it looks like a cat's pajamas, in a way that excites the envy of laptops wherever they go. 

It's super slim, very light, and as sophisticated as they come. When combined with an eye-popping screen, you really don't see every inch of the money you paid for it in a viable small package

Okay, okay, you don't have to scream all at once. Not a laptop But you came here for deals on compact gaming power, and I would be negligent if I didn't point out that the og Steam deck is still something to steal with a mere steal399.

This is a 256GB model, a bit on the small side for game storage. This 1TB Lexar Play2230SSD drive is Amazon's Amazon90 and can fit straight into your new steam deck after five minutes of fiddling with some screws.

Steam Deck is not a productive machine, but if what you want is something very portable to play games on the go for less cash, this is a great way to do it. I've enjoyed my time on the deck very much, as—although it's not the most powerful handheld on the market—it provides a real PC gaming experience for much less, well, almost anything else.

It is not a laptop. That's a big deal It's a compact gaming power for relatively little cash, and that makes it a brilliant cry for you trying to take PC games out into the big wide world.
