If the "Fallout" TV series had a second season, there would be more deathclaws than would justify its existence.

It is surprising that there are no Deathclaws in Season 1 of the "Fallout" TV series. It is the most fearsome foe of the Fallout beasts. When we think of Fallout, we think of Vault Boy, and then we think of the Deathclaw. But TV producers must exercise restraint. They can't just throw every series icon into eight episodes to please the geeks.

But if season two of the "Fallout" TV series comes to fruition (and it probably will), it will almost certainly feature Deathclaws, and in an interview with The Wrap, co-showrunner Graham Wagner said that a fairly basic tenet of storytelling has led him to believe that "the first season of Fallout will be a little bit more interesting. that there will be no deathclaws in the first season, explaining.

"We wanted to have Deathclaw appear, but we didn't want to just throw it away. We did extensive world-building in Season 1, but we didn't want to add to it; we wanted to leave something for Season 2. So we're very excited to finally tackle one of the most iconic elements of the game in Season 2."

This relates to the team's resistance to a "kitchen-sink approach" that would result in the first season being overrun with rich references at the expense of being actually interesting to people who have never played "Fallout 3" with terabytes of mods installed Related. We didn't want the show to look like it was written by people who just read a Wikipedia page on "Fallout" for 10 seconds without bothering to bring in any deep cuts," said Geneva Roberson-Dworet, another co-showrunner, in the same interview. 'So it was important to me that we put some deep cuts into Season 1 as well. Hopefully, we won't offend the fans because we didn't draw every last one.

Fraser touched on the topic of strange absences in an article earlier this week: for example, where are the bloody super mutants (his article is much more nuanced than that, so read on). However, I can sympathize with the showrunners when they imply that just throwing everything into the first season's script would result in a "hey, kids" atmosphere.

As for Season 2, it hasn't officially materialized yet - Prime Video has yet to purchase any further information - but if it does, the first season finale gives a pretty big hint as to where it will take place.
