The first season of the "Fallout" TV show has plenty of familiar moments that fans can get lost in. It may not have been particularly important, but it was still really cool to see someone use a stimpack for the first time, or to hear Ink Spots' "I Don't Want to Set The World on Fire" for the first time.
The song was used as the intro to "Fallout 3" and was often played on Galaxy News Radio broadcasts. But that may not be the only thing that came out of this iconic radio show. For the charismatic Three Dog voice actor raised the possibility of appearing on the next season of the TV show.
After quoting a fan tweeting that he missed Three Dog's voice while watching the three main characters progress through Wasteland, Eric Todd Dellums replied: "I would love to voice the new DJ in the Fallout series! Darker than Three Dog, but just as funny and engaging! I replied.
Three Dog is the host of Galaxy News Radio, who accompanies the Lone Wanderer's antics throughout Fallout 3, praising and berating him for his work in Wasteland; he is the DJ for Diamond City Radio in Fallout 4 Travis Miles mentions that after a player defeats the Institute, the radio host is often told by his old friend that he "has to fight the good fight."
But even if Three Dog is mentioned in other games, he may not yet have a chance to appear in season two of the TV show. First, it is not known if Three Dog is still alive; in 2287, he vanished without a trace, replaced by Phil Goodman, known as the cool ghoul. But even if he had survived the nine years between his disappearance and the start of the TV show, he probably wouldn't be in the right place.
Three Dog's broadcast in Fallout 3 was pre-recorded, but according to one of his tapes, it was still from a fortified bunker in the middle of "hell in (Washington) D.C." Season 2 of the TV series, however, is likely to take place elsewhere on the West Coast, which would put the radio host outside the mosquito net, or at least force Dellums to play a different, but suspiciously similar, character. But perhaps we will hear another revolutionary broadcast of Three Dog in Season 2 of the "Fallout" TV show.
