Technical tests of "Hades 2" showed that the Greek gods are still super hot.

The technical tests for "Yomigaeri 2" have been released to the public. But, as one might expect, many fans are not paying attention to that.

The technical test allows one to meet and flirt with the gods in the first major area of the game. These include Aphrodite, the goddess of love, Selene the moon incarnate, Odysseus the veteran tactician, and my personal favorite, Nemesis.

Meanwhile, on Twitter, the reaction to all of these characters has been incredibly normal. So far, we have seen players saying that they "could be trampled by Nyx's entire family," and one person's cautious response of "crying, sobbing, and foaming at the mouth."

Some of the more modest reactions include "It's a great day for Sapphicism," referring to the four goddesses Nemesis, Aphrodite, Selene, and Hecate. These four goddesses are beautifully rendered in the vibrant, detailed art style that I loved in the original Hades. With all the images looking like this, it is honestly hard not to fall in love with these characters.

Unfortunately, not everyone had the pleasure of checking out the technical test in person; Supergiant Games stated before the test began, "Not everyone will be able to participate in the technical testing of Hades 2, but those who can't wait for Early Access will be able to see it! We want to make sure everyone who can't wait for Early Access gets to see it. So, in just a few minutes, we will be live streaming the Hades 2 technical test".

I eventually tuned in to watch the test unfold for myself, and while I might have scratched the screen to play it myself, it was still great to get a sneak peak before Early Access. The main purpose of the test was to make sure everything was in working order before the Early Access launch, and while it's obviously not a finished product yet, it was encouraging to see how solid everything was.

If you tuned into Supergiant Games' technical testing stream and watched the thrilling battles (i.e., the beautiful gods), you might have even heard someone's voice. The voice of Hecate, the goddess of magic, is voiced by Amelia Tyler, who was also the narrator in Baldur's Gate 3. It's a small crossover, but it reaffirms that Hecate is going to be as cool a goddess as she looks and gives us another reason to be enthusiastic about one of the gods in "Yomigaeri 2."
