Josh Sawyer, director of Fallout New Vegas, said that the grueling card game is actually "not that hard.

Let me preface this by saying that I have never played Caravan. Apparently, neither has half of the PC Gamer team, even those who have immersed themselves in Fallout New Vegas for hundreds of hours. Interest in this card game seems surprisingly low. Or, according to a significant portion of the community, it is ridiculously too difficult.

However, "New Vegas" director Josh Sawyer thinks you're all wrong: As GamesRadar reports, Sawyer responded to a tweet that "I still don't know how to play Fallout New Vegas" with this He responded: "It's more complicated than [Pentiment's] Samuel's Lansquenet, but it's not that hard," he wrote.

When one follower pointed out that less than 6% of PC players have the 3-win caravan achievement (the 30-win achievement is earned by only 2% on Steam and is the second rarest of New Vegas' achievements), Sawyer replied, "They should give it another shot imo."

In other words, it has been 14 years since New Vegas was released. Maybe it's a lot easier than people remember, or maybe no one bothered to read the rules in the first place; some sheepishly admit that Caravan's "confusing" in-game explanations really didn't add up. One tweeted, "I always skip over them so I don't know what I'm doing," while another wrote, "Caravan is a lot of fun, but I think the rule pop-ups are intimidating to many players (myself included until recently), especially early in the game." Some.

However, many replies seem surprised at how formidable other players find it. One user said it was simply "three times as good as blackjack," while another wrote, "I couldn't understand why everyone thought it was so difficult. According to this user, apparently the trick is to "put the point on luck and hit the button repeatedly. Let's give it a try.

I will never learn how to play Caravan or win a game, as I am well known to dislike tutorials. I will happily remain among the 98% of card game losers forever, heaven forbid I have to read something for more than 10 seconds. Sorry, Sawyer.
