Telltale releases new images of "The Wolf Among Us 2" and says it is "bowing down" to the game.

More than three years after reassuring fans that "The Wolf Among Us 2" is still in production but still quite a ways off, Telltale Games is reassuring fans that "The Wolf Among Us 2" is still in production but still quite a ways off, with four new game images were released.

Game Awards host Geoff Keighley released the images on Twitter last night, stating that The Wolf Among Us 2 is "currently in production. "As GamesRadar noted, it was a bit odd: Telltale has been in production since 2018 2019, not long after it was shut down in November, reopened under new management and lost most of its staff, and it was announced at The Game Awards, too.

Not much has been heard since Telltale confirmed that The Wolf Among Us 2 was in the works, but in March 2023 the release was pushed back to 2024 to avoid the crunch and allow the transition from Unreal Engine 4 to UE5. Telltale itself offered a bit more insight into what is going on in a post on "The Wolf Among Us" forum.

"We've been silent because we've been keeping our heads down and focused on the promise of #TWAU2," Telltale wrote.

"No big updates yet, but here's a little something: here's an in-progress shot of the current build. Work continues, and the Fabletown gang will be back."

And here's the shot:

Unfortunately, Telltale's post contains no new information about when The Wolf Among Us 2 will actually launch: for now, the vague 2024 that was offered when the game was last delayed The goal still remains.
