Nine years later, some dedicated YouTubers are still discovering new secrets and Easter eggs in CD Projekt's masterpiece, The Witcher 3.

I'm such a "Witcher 3" fanatic that I rewatch CD Project's epic "The Witcher 3" every couple of years, but I can't match xLetalis, the YouTuber who has been documenting the secrets and mysteries of this great game since its release and continues to discover new surprises to this day. His devotion to The Witcher 3 is nowhere near as great as that of xLetalis. [The latest Easter egg, reported by IGN, appears to be for those brave enough to break the boundaries and find themselves outside the normal play area in Novigrad. In the basement of the Metropolis is an Uncle Sam-style painting of a Temarian soldier with the words "CDPR Needs You" beneath it.

XLetalis was informed about this Easter egg by a viewer who claimed to have glitched into the Novigrad underground space. The YouTuber could not find another example of this drawing within "The Witcher 3," but he recalled seeing something similar elsewhere in the game. My guess is that he was thinking of a riff similar to an old U.S. recruitment poster found in 2007 around Vizima in "The Witcher 1."

XLetalis wondered if this might have been a genuine stab at a recruiting tool by CD Projekt, but I think there is a real possibility there. If you were able to break the boundaries and see this message, that tells me that you are predisposed to be a quality assurance tester. My guess is that it was placed as a cheeky response to a known shippable bug that allows you to duck under Novigrad, similar, if not exactly the same, to the one used by xLetalis viewers.

You may know the name xLetalis as we previously told you about the Witcher 3 secret that only appears after 7 years in the game and the cross-game ARG/Easter egg "FF:06:B5" that exists in both Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 3. XLetalis regularly releases a compendium of Witcher 3 secrets. My favorite is the one on Blood and Wine's Cianfanelli Bank, where not only will you be permanently banned if you fail the related quest, but the staff will put a "don't serve this man" sketch of Geralt in the lobby. Ouch.
