Call of Duty's new "Godzilla X Kong B.E.A.S.T." glove requires $80 worth of in-game points and does not allow you to fire dead enemies.

Activision has released a new melee weapon as part of its Godzilla X Kong: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and Warzone collaboration. However, players are painfully aware that these gloves are not worth the price.

The B.E.A.S.T. gloves, a melee weapon, can only be purchased if you purchase all four Godzilla Kong bundles. If you have saved up points from previous purchases or Battle Pass, this price can be lowered, but even so, this price is high for a melee weapon that cannot even be equipped with camouflage.

The B.E.A.S.T. Glove melee weapon is Kong's weapon in the movie, giving him the power to attack with energy-powered punches. Cool, sure, but you can't pull off the same punch in COD. One Reddit user decided to buy the weapon to see if it was worth it, but unfortunately it didn't work out.

"I decided to get the BEAST Glove (I bought all four GODZILLA KONG BUNDLES) because I had some money to spend, but holy crap, it wasn't worth it," xGrimaulOnXboxx explained in a Reddit thread The only plus side was the master craft. "The only plus side is that it counts as a master crafting blueprint (unique inspection) and it's fun to punch enemies. But it doesn't do anything special. I thought I could at least rip my enemies to shreds, if not launch corpses."

The replies to this thread are pretty self-explanatory, with everyone questioning why this weapon can't do more and lamenting its price: "I can't believe this isn't getting more buzz. Don't get me wrong. But to advertise that it only costs $80 plus tax to get one of these blueprints is absolutely ridiculous," says XboxJockey.

To be fair, from what I've seen so far about this glove, it looks pretty underwhelming; Detonated tweeted a video of the new weapon in action, but the attack is simply tapping an enemy player and watching them get knocked to the ground like a sack of potatoes. It feels like a lost opportunity, as it doesn't even allow them to enter the atmosphere. But alas, we can't all be as cool as Kong.
