The R-36 Erruptor is an outrageous democratic proliferation weapon.

Available in the new Democratic Detonation Warbond in Helldivers 2, the Erputor is a main gun that fires "jet-assisted" rounds that explode on impact, destroying fabricators, insect nests, gunships, tanks, and other vehicles and structures It is capable of destroying fabricators, insect nests, gunships, tanks and other vehicles and structures. Essentially, it is the power of a support weapon, such as the Anti-Materiel Rifle, packed into a main gun.

Eruptor's nerf has already been foretold by some players, but it also has disadvantages. It is heavy, slow, and does not do much splash damage, but it is not suitable for close combat. It also has only five magazines.

While there is definitely a trade-off in putting the Eruptor in the primary slot instead of an assault rifle, that is not to say that the Eruptor is not a beast. One player claims to have taken down a Charger, a heavily armored terminid, with two Eruptor rounds.

Perhaps power creep is happening and Erputor may prove to need a nerf. However, given developer Arrowhead's novel approach to previous updates, it is conceivable that a new explosion-resistant super-enemy will be introduced, drowning us in increasingly OP-feeling weapons before knocking us down.

Democractic Detonation Warbonds are available now. Super credits can be purchased for $10 or earned from missions and other warbonds; Eruptor is on page 2, and the Warbond also includes an explosive crossbow.
