Blasphemous is a dark and brutal metroidvania influenced by the Souls series and the Spanish Catholic aesthetic. The Kickstarter donation is an admirable show of solidarity from Larian, and the studio has essentially embraced it positively after successfully transforming itself through crowdfunding.
