Stardew Valley Modder Challenges Players with "Everything Bagel" Recipe Requiring 134 Ingredients

In honor of Stupidity Day, the latest mod for the extremely niche Stardew Valley brings us a world that makes more sense than one player could ever envision. They need EVERYTHING as an ingredient in a bagel. As for "how do you get it all into the bagel?" one can only assume that a mixer has something to do with it.

SiTheGreat, a modder at Stardew Valley, wrote an encouraging message, "Happy April :)" and "I don't know what inspired me to make this beyond the general frustration at the name of the so-called 'everything bagel'." The Everything Bagel was uploaded today with the message "I don't know what inspired me to make this beyond the general frustration at the name of the so-called 'everything bagel'. The mod adds a new recipe to the game, the poorly named bagel that SiTheGreat is upset about, and you will certainly need all the ingredients in Stardew Valley to cook it.

Given that it is so clear what this mod is supposed to do, I have to say that the only fool here is the person who undertakes this tremendous task: the "Full Shipment" of Stardew Valley (one of every item in the game using shipping boxes Selling all items in the game one at a time using shipping boxes), this should be a piece of cake, right?

But the challenge begins even before you start gathering everything you need, and SiTheGreat warns that the game tool chips that usually indicate the ingredients needed for a recipe may actually disappear from the screen, leaving all 120 or so ingredients a mystery.

So they offer a list of helpful hints as to what "all" actually means:

And if you want a final hint, after poking around the mod's code, the list contains 134 items. If you're really stumped, check it against the list of Stardew Valley item IDs on the player wiki. Oh, and I'm not trolling us by putting Abigail's favorite mineral treats on the list. Confirmed

SiTheGreat says they haven't tracked down the item IDs for the new foods added in the Stardew Valley 1.6 update yet, but they will in a future update. no one commits to bits like modders do. From.
