Nightmare Kart, a non-"Bloodborne" fan game, has a release date - although it was delayed by a letter from Sony.

Lilith Walther, the genius behind the amazing remake of "Bloodborne" for PS1, has been hard at work on "Bloodborne".

The fiasco forced Walther to remake a shockingly large number of characters from "Bloodborne," and the release of "Bloodborne," originally scheduled for January of this year, has been significantly delayed. "When this news broke," Walther said, "we need to get rid of the brand name ....... That will require a short delay," he wrote.

Well, this postponement is over. Not only is Nightmare Kart now legally distinct and its own thing, with its charming and unique character design (not Mikolash, with a little Tweety Bird in the basket of his head), but it will be released on both Steam and Itch.io at a low price of absolutely nothing! Plans.

Despite the nonexistent price point, Nightmare Kart seems to be a full-fledged indie game in terms of content: a genuine campaign mode with 20 racers, 16 maps, and a unique boss battle: ..... .the PS1 remake was a fun experiment, but Walther and her team seem to have just injected as much nitro as they could into the engine, turning an idea that could only have been concocted in a 3am daze into a full game.

Walther has her own furry entity, Banliss, in the game. She is unlockable with a cheat code and has a tradition of secret bonus characters. Honestly" That's right, if I had an OC and I was making a kart racer, I'd include them in the game too. That's the reward for lovingly creating a helluva piece of work and giving it away for free.

Walther also shares her process for making nightmare carts a legal and unique selling point. She also mentions that the "initial 'fanoftware' joke logo must be replaced with a temporary texture."

Personally, I hope she leaves it as is. Nightmare Carts will be selling donuts in the nearest gothic parking lot on May 31.
