MSI's 4K 240Hz Monster is one of the best deals on OLED gaming products right now at $899.

It has been a long time coming. But the hottest new generation 4K gaming OLEDs have finally arrived. And the new MSI MAG 321UPX is the cheapest of the lot.

Newegg's $899 price tag is much cheaper than the $1,299 Asus ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM we recently reviewed, which uses the exact same 32-inch Samsung QD-OLED panel and has nearly identical specifications overall. [32-inch Samsung QD-OLED, 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, 240Hz refresh, 0.03ms response. Swell.

As a result, at least at Asus, gaming monitors have taken a decisive step toward perfection. The ultra-tight 4K pixel density, OLED's signature pixel-by-pixel lighting, and stunning contrast combine beautifully.

Considering that a 27-inch 1440p OLED typically sells for around $800, a 4K 32-inch option for only $100 more looks like a heck of a bargain. It wasn't that long ago that you had to pay this much for a 4K high-refresh LCD monitor.

If there is a concern, full-screen brightness is still not where we want it to be. And then there is the ever-present OLED burn-in concern. However, the MSI MAG 321UPX comes with a 3-year burn-in warranty.

The only other drawback we can see is that the USB-C port of the MSI MAG 321UPX is not suitable for single-cable laptop connections, as its power supply is limited to 15W. Too bad.

But that quibble aside, this may be the best flat-panel gaming experience you can get right now. Go ahead.
