Content warning patch adds reporter mics, sound player, and "party poppers"

Just one day after promising to be working on it, the content-warning team released a patch that fixes several bugs and adds three new items: a reporter microphone, a party popper, and a sound player.

The patch was announced via an in-game video clip that appeared to be done with minimal preparation. By "minimal preparation," I mean that someone handed Zorro a piece of paper and said, "Read this, we'll fix it in post," then omitted the "we'll fix it in post" part.

The new toy is nice: the reporter microphone costs $50 and appears to be a more portable version of the $100 boom mic. 5]

The fact that the video record reduces hard drive space is a plus. As someone who is currently trying to figure out what to erase to reinstall "Ghost Recon Wildlands," I may be a bit biased on this point, but anything that increases drive space is good. Emote prices have also been adjusted and an option to flip the mouse has been added.

While this is a small patch, the developers say they are continuing to work on "more fixes to other major issues such as audio issues, connection and hosting issues, and camera troubles where footage is not extracted or displayed."

Content Warning made a big splash when it launched on April 1, quickly surpassing 6 million owners and 204,000 concurrent players. That number has dropped somewhat, but is still holding up well, with 90,000 concurrent players, not bad for a Wednesday afternoon. Judging by the amount of requests for new features and content, the widespread patience for bug fixes, and, needless to say, the fact that the game is so much fun, players are eager to stick around.

The full Content Warning patch notes are as follows.
