'Dragon's Dogma 2' Players Find a Way to Turn Mountains into Passages with the Right Posture, Catapults and Giant Boulders

As if Dragon's Dogma 2 didn't have high enough mountains, players are exploring the map and discovering cool new ways to terrorize their pawns.

Recently, Twitter user Peppo_LS shared his new fascination with catapults with the world, demonstrating that catapults are more than your average siege weapon. If you can find a catapult, throw a rock down a mountainside and you just might get great results.

In the video, Peppo hits the stone at just the right angle to the cliff slope, opening a secret passageway. This short clip quickly spread through the Dragon's Dogma 2 community. The fact that the catapult has no tutorial and can be used not only to open new areas is fantastic.

This new discovery has lit a fire in many players' seats, with many commenters saying they would love to try it out for themselves: "How can I keep learning new things about this game every day, even after 40 hours of playing?" one user replied.

But if you think the only siege weapon you can use is the catapult, you are mistaken. You can also interact with the ballista (via IGN). This weapon has a very long range, making it ideal for quickly taking out large and fearsome targets. By firing piercing rounds from a distance, it can do up to 42.54 times more damage without getting your hands too dirty and can even take down flying enemies.

If you want to try out the catapult, simply find a moving catapult, carry a stone, and place it on the launch pad. A short cutscene will then begin in which you can watch the catapult in action. You could also place a pawn on the catapult and try to see if it can fly. For science.
