World of Warcraft Classic is not necessarily difficult; it is a punishing game that forces players to have a great deal of patience, just as MMORPGs of old were. If you accidentally draw too many mobs or are unlucky enough to get wiped out in a dungeon, you are forced to make the long jog to the corpse. When permadeath is added to that equation, .......
But not scary enough for one player: a Twitch streamer named Rudeism, armed only with his feet and two DDR mats side by side, beyond the bounds of decency, decided to take on the toughest version of WoW.
As discovered by Gamesradar, Rudeism began his two-step journey through Azeroth yesterday, reaching level 6 after nearly four hours of grooving. Nevertheless, about 25 minutes after starting, Rudeism realizes that he "didn't program the jump button."
You might think Rudeism would opt for a simple class with minimal hotkey management, but he chose the druid. Druids once used moonbeams so extensively that they became a meme in their own right.
Additionally, Rudeism uses WoW's new "find yourself" mode, where players are restricted from sending and receiving emails, buying and selling in the auction house, and trading in any form. Therefore, he gets no help from his fans, and if he does not want to elaborate on his leatherwork, he will do this in the green and gray of the quest.
Speaking of quest rewards, he uses the directional buttons on his pad to slowly and painfully move his mouse to his inventory. It took him nearly a minute to receive and equip the gloves from a grateful NPC.
This is not the first time Rudism has tackled the task of dinging with the soles of his feet in World of Warcraft. Nearly eight years ago, he achieved level 100 using the same maneuver in WoW retail. Given that his progress could be reset by an unexpected death, this challenge will take much longer than that.
Rudism is also known for creating strange controllers. For example, these two ditto fighting pads, the toy controller, and this goose costume. One has to admire his dedication, but one also has to pity his arrogance. Godspeed, Rudeism, you are braver than any of us.
