Role
Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2's Brujah is a heavy drinker and plays with his enemies.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 (Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2) is due out this year, but The Chinese Room continues to sip the game's blood. This leather-loving vampire is a renegade of vampire society, the first clan to be revealed by Hardsuit Labs in the original sequel and again by The Chinese Room.

Choosing to be a Brujah vamp means being a front-line fighter with a shitty attitude and always looking for scraps.Brujah was initially a warrior scholar, but in the modern world he is known for his temper and short temper. Expect a very in-your-face style of play.

In combat, they will hit and eat each other violently. Bruja's abilities include "Taunt," which causes the enemy to supernaturally attack and inflict more damage; "Charge," which grabs the opponent it hits and rushes forward while beating them to a pulp; "Lightning Shock," which transforms into a punching machine that can land a barrage of blows on multiple enemies; "Earth Shock," which sends enemies flying by slamming into the ground.

I especially like the image accompanying Taunt's description. Even if you don't have vampire magic, I think this will force you to fight.

This is not your only feat; Brutality is a passive ability of this clan, which strengthens the attack after feeding, making it stronger. Pulverise, on the other hand, is this clan's perk, which allows you to defeat your enemies without feeding, and still benefit from the powerful benefits of Daelin.

Of course, "Bloodlines 2" is not all about brawling. You can also chat. Knowing your clan's reputation, characters will expect you to be short-tempered, and while Fire has hostile dialogue options available regardless of clan, as a bruiser vamp you'll have a unique opportunity to stir things up. However, developers have stated that you can play against type and the character will react to your unexpected callousness.

If you feel thirsty while roaming the streets at night, you can use your influence to excite civilians and drive them to a quiet place where they can have a nice dinner without anyone noticing.

The January release of the expansion honestly didn't impress me much, thanks to its disorienting combat and limited role-playing options, but now that I'm out of the darkest time of the year, I'm a little less grumpy and more hopeful that "Bloodlines 2" will be a brilliant, but janky original that I'm trying to hold out hope that it will live up to its unashamedly janky original.
