So far, my day has consisted of scrolling through Twitter and examining the many horrific designs created by Dragon's Dogma 2 players that have been made available to character creators prior to launch.

Even if you don't plan to play Dragon's Dogma 2, the character creator is currently available to try for free on Steam and offers the perfect way to create your dream or nightmare persona. You can customize your playable character, Arisen, as well as your main pawn. As far as the horrifyingly detailed amalgams out there, this is also an incredibly creative and detailed tool.

I have seen creatures that seem closer to sleep paralysis demons than what would be considered normal, even by fantasy RPG standards. Some of these designs would give me a heart attack if I stumbled across them in a game. So instead of staring at these godlike creatures, I decided to take matters into my own hands and start designing characters.

Aside from being genuinely sickening, these unholy creations show just how great the character creators in Dragon's Dogma 2 are. In addition to choosing race and body type, there are many ways to adjust torso length, muscle style, tattoos, and more. I am currently trying to recreate Leon Kennedy using all of these tools, and having this kind of freedom means that anything is possible.

There is also what players are now calling the "Virgin to Chad Slider," which allows you to choose how hunched you want your character to be. Both sides of the scale look pretty uncomfortable, but it's your character, so it's all up to you.

Don't worry if you end up with a beautiful monster, a mirror image of yourself, or a character you'd love to play when "Dragon's Dogma 2" is released, like the best of the "Resident Evil" series. You can also save up to five of your creations so you can spend your time creating either the most aesthetically pleasing design or the one that defies science.
