General
The official Cult of the Ram comic was funded in just six minutes.

Just when you thought you couldn't get any more into the adorably bloody roguelike world of "Cult of the Ram," developer Devolver Digital has teamed up with comic publisher Oni Press to launch a new comic series called Cult of the Ram was written by Alex Parknadel and drawn by Troy Little.

As someone who is just starting down the path to cultism (thanks to some enthusiastic urging from friends), this comic series seems like a great way for me to get to know all the creatures I will eventually encounter in "Cult of the Ram." The series will also show how the titular lamb is forging ahead on its path of attracting new followers and expanding its cult.

Clearly I am not alone in this anticipation; with 30 days to go until the April 12 deadline, Cult of the Lamb: As of this writing, pledges are at $89,500/70,000 pounds and counting.

But the fun doesn't end here. There are several first-day deals that caught my eye. Usually when it comes to Kickstarter campaigns, I prepare to throw my wallet out the window to protect myself from reckless spending. However, these first-day deals are quite affordable and include some great perks. These perks include:

Tiers 5 through 10 range from $40 to $2000, and the final tier includes the "Infinite Access Set," which includes all the goodies from the previous sets, plus a $100 Oni gift certificate, an original Troy Little art page, and the upcoming release Sacrifice Reward for the upcoming "Cult of the Lamb" comic book.

However, the best reward, the all-controlling reward, is sealed and will not be available unless your donation passes a rather expensive milestone. However, if donations miraculously reach $666,666, the Cult of the Ram: The First Verse will include sex as a campaign reward. I don't know how definitive this is, since the fine print only says "shhhh, we'll figure it out," but it's a small price to pay if you ask me.
